New Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Renaldo Leaner has revealed that joining the Soweto giants has always been his ambition.

The 28-year-old brings a wealth of experience, having previously played for Ajax Cape Town, Maritzburg United and Sekhukhune United.
He has already linked up with his teammates in Spain as they continue their pre-season for the 2026-27 season, which lies ahead.
Leaner admits he was left in awe after his first visit to the club’s Naturena headquarters and believes the world-class facilities provide the perfect environment to take his game to the next level.
“I have always wanted to play for Chiefs, so when I became a free agent after my contract expired with my previous club, I chose to join Kaizer Chiefs,” Leaner told his club’s official website.
“Actually, my first time at the Village in Naturena was when I went to sign for Chiefs.
“I was amazed and impressed by what I saw when they took me on a tour of the facilities.
“It made me even more eager to start because everything is here to make a world-class training base.”

The limited-edition Plascon Trade Wall Cover Emulsion – K’Ogalo Edition has been created to celebrate Gor’s triumphant 2025–2026 FKF Premier League title-winning season while reaffirming Kansai Plascon Kenya’s long-term commitment to the growth of Kenyan football.

Pablo Pagis rejoint le Paris FC
Paris FC a officialisé l’arrivée de l’attaquant français Pablo Pagis en provenance du FC Lorient. Le joueur de 23 ans s’est engagé avec le club de la capitale jusqu’en 2031, marquant ainsi une nouvelle étape dans sa carrière après une saison particulièrement réussie en Ligue 1.
Un parcours construit avec patience
Né en décembre 2002 à Montbéliard, Pablo Pagis a effectué ses premiers pas dans le football à l’US Pont-Péan, en Bretagne. Il poursuit ensuite sa formation au Stade Rennais avant de rejoindre le FC Lorient en 2018. Chez les Merlus, il signe son premier contrat professionnel en 2021.
Afin d’accumuler du temps de jeu, l’attaquant est prêté successivement au Nîmes Olympique puis au Stade Lavallois. Ces expériences lui permettent de poursuivre sa progression avant de revenir à Lorient, où il s’impose comme un élément essentiel de l’équipe championne de Ligue 2 lors de la saison 2024-2025.

Auteur d’une excellente saison 2025-2026 avec 10 buts et 5 passes décisives en Ligue 1, Pablo Pagis a largement contribué à la belle dixième place obtenue par le FC Lorient. Ses performances ont convaincu le Paris FC de miser sur son profil pour renforcer son secteur offensif.
